A Divine Inspiration Invitation

I’ve been very introspective for the last several weeks with some many thoughts and feeling bubbling up without any language to express through writing. I don’t want to blog for the sake of blogging, rather when the inspiration moves me.
Today’s the day!
For months, I have been talking about the vital importance of creating a strong bond with the Divine as we continue to move into this Age of Enlightenment.
And I have encouraged you to look at who the God of your understanding is.
Why?
Because the God you pray to and talk to may not be the God you wish to bond with.
I have come to know that we get to create the kind of God we want!
YES!
For the past 18 months, I have been working deeply with inner transformation to deepen my faith and trust with God especially to believe that all I want and need would be supplied by God. I’d had my issues with God for sure!
I have come to know that God will be whatever we want and need him/her to be in our life and the more attention and physical form we give to God the more alive the Divine will be in our/your life.
God can be a loving parent, a savvy business partner, a best friend…whatever you need in any given moment.
I have asked God to be all three!
In fact, one morning while inviting God to take a walk with me, I began to think about and describe the qualities of what a best/devoted friend would be and I asked God to embody those qualities – to be that kind of friend for me. And with all friendships, the kind of loving support includes helping me to face and walk through those painfull places that are pathways to having a rich, joyfull life.
I am so gratefull for all the ways my life has become richer (including those painful times) because of my deepening relationship with my personal Divine.
That’s what I want for you.
Keep your focus on strengthening your bond with God this year. Talk to the Divine about EVERYTHING throughout your day as you would a close friend and confidant. Ask God to instill within you any quality you feel you lack and be sure to thank the Divine for all you receive, knowing that each experience is an answer to your prayer and is a healing and growth opportunity.
I read this story on Facebook….
An old Cherokee was teaching his grandchildren about life.
He said, “A battle is raging inside me – it is a terrible fight between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”
The old man looked at the children with a firm stare.
“This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too.”
They thought about it for a minute, and then one child asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee replied: “The one you feed.” ?
Let go of praying to get rid of a life situation or to have something removed from within you. You are NOT defective or broken. Instead ask for the courage, love, patience…. to embrace each moment’s gift with an open mind and heart. With any life situation or pain that you might be struggling with, recognize when you have done all you can by enbracing every thought and feeling, and surrender that struggle or pain to God.
Until you become helpless, God is helpless to help you.
Nurture this relationship as you would with anything or anyone you love and value.
Commit to daily spiritual practices and sacred space to commune with your personal Divine
2012 is the year to experience being liberated from the grip of the mind.
And you have the most powerfull ally to help you become free.
God!!!!
Make 2012 the year your bond with the Divine gets stronger than ever!
The world needs you.
From my heart to yours, remember that in each moment, you are never alone. You have a powerfull friend walking beside you and within you!
Each night as I fall asleep, I ask to be wrapped in the loving arms of my Divine.
Rest well. Tomorrow is a new day of possibilities and miracles.
