Do you roll out of bed and hit the ground running? Do you feel yourself pulled in a lot of directions that can cause you to be less productive and focused? Do you get on email right away and lose precious time from the get-go?
Begin your day by setting aside several minutes to get centered and present. Use your breath to help you get grounded and in the moment. You might do this in bed before you get up. Clear your mind and thoughts before posing the question inside, “Where do I need to focus my energies and attention today to fulfill what I desire? (Achieve my weekly goals, move me closer to my visions…)
Ask, “What is the best use of my time and energy today?” Listen for thoughts, ideas, pictures ….that might be answers to your question. Stay open to your instincts, intuition and inner nudges.
Now - with email….. Set aside 30-60 minutes to so something productive for yourself, or your business FIRST before opening up your email.
Notice how making this change affects your day!
Cheers,
Lorraine

I’ve always found that taking a moment to breathe and deciding exactly what to do with the day nearly always sets the tone for the rest of the day - if I immediately decide to have a productive day, that’s how my day almost inevitably ends up. Of course, if I immediately decide to have a lazy day…

Thanks for the chuckle Matt
You make my point about how important it is to stop and check in, set an intention, breathe - whatever works for you to tune in, tap in, step forward.
I too find some days I don’t feel like being productive. I have to give myself permission and which isn’t always easy.
Have a terrific day

I Love it Lorraine! I know my days are always productive when I spend 5 minutes before getting out of my bed and into the real world. I love being able to focus early in the morning. Its such a blessing to get up in the morning, plan what you want to create and go out there to make things happen.
Have a lovely Friday,
Rigdha

Amen Rigdha
A colleague of mine suggested I begin each day focusing on the intention of what I see as my soul/life purpose - to make that a reality and be in integrity.
Really sets the tone for the day!
Thanks for adding your thoughts
