Coaching Tip (and Invitation) – Know When To Get Help

In a conversation today with a new potential client, the question she posed for consideration was, “How do I know if adding a coach to my team is the right choice for me at this time?” Great question.
She then added that, had it been last year, the decision to hire a coach would have been a no-brainer because she had so much upheaval in her life, personally and in her business. Now, a year later, she had made a lot of great progress and was in a stronger place in many areas of her life. And she had done it, pretty much by herself with some family support.
Here’s the blind spot for highly responsible and capable people. For people who are used to handling things alone, the idea of asking for help can be foreign unless they are in a criticial state. Even then they might still push forward out of habit and survival instincts. That’s one way to live.Â
Knowing when to bring help on board and getting that help is what successfull and happy people do to thrive, rather than survive.
It’s an investment in peace of mind, abundant living, business success…..that pays off in the long run when you bring the right people onto your team to expand your vision rather than living small and cutting corners that cost you more over time.
