This past Friday was my birthday. To celebrate with me, my dear friend and business partner, Anita-Pathik-Law drove in from MD with her husband. I was really looking forward to them coming!
I often speak about the ways God/Higher Power/The Divine/The Universe shows up in our lives and encourage people to write all the things they are grateful for each night as they prepare for sleep. Such a wonderful way to end the day!
Anita suggested we begin journaling about all the ways we see the Universe showing up with gifts (kisses) and guidance (whispers). Wow! What a great idea to begin tracking our daily manifestations so that our eyes and heart become more finely attuned to the calls and answers of Spirit.
I loved the idea!
Deliberately looking for the all the different ways our prayers are answered sounded like a fabulous way to begin and end each day. Great intention! This includes seeing the gifts in EVERY experience regardless of the situation; to view each situation as a healing and growth opportunity. That means dropping the complaining and blaming patterns to see situations from a broader perspective.
When you begin to look for and appreciate all the subtle, small, obvious, and BIG ways God sends you what you ask for (wanted or unwanted) or need to help you grow and prosper, your life is filled with greater happiness and flow.
My birthday was amazing. When I wrote down all of the day’s manifestations, I was blown away.
Friday’s kisses from God:
~ An extra 15 minutes added to my hot stone massage (gratitis = almost two hours!) with a $10 off coupon
~ Savings of over 50% on a new IPod. It was supposed to be 30% and I received an extra 20% in error (ya think so????? haha) they gave me anyway
~ Savings of 50% off an already discounted package of healing bath salts rung up in error that they gave me anyway (again!)
~ A local client made lunch for all of us. When she walked in with an entire feast (pasta with penne and a pot of extra sauce, fruit plate, salad plus dressing, bread, lemon chicken, parmesan cheese, fried eggplant, Sparkling Cider, and a bouquet of flowers) my mouthed dropped. She made the entire meal for us. It was fantastic. I’m still blown away with so much gratitude and appreciation
~ Anita and her musician husband Brent brought me two special presents when they came. While we were out that day, they bought me two more at a local New Age shop. Later that evening, they took me out to dinner at a favorite Japanese restaurant
~ I received a special present from a blogging buddy in Singapore. She arranged with a mutual friend’s sister to send me an adorable Boyd’s bear
~ Birthday cards came in the mail from loving friends
~ Over 15 birthday wishes came from friends at Facebook and MySpace
~ Several people sent birthday emails and electronic cards
~ Anita wrote me a beautiful birthday poem
~ I received a birthday coupon for one free ice cream from Coldstone Creamery (Yum)
~ A new customer bought one of my eBooks
~ We watched The Moses Code (Anita & Brent brought it)
~ I felt so loved
~ The whole day flowed. The Divine timing of the way the whole day unfolded was perfect
And this was just Friday! The gifts continued throughout Saturday. As I write this post, I am feeling so blessed for all that I have in my life. I felt so loved and supported by dear friends, colleagues, acquaintances, and even strangers. In fact the kisses and whispers are here everyday through the people and situations we experience! Thank you God!

Begin tracking what is manifesting in your life. Open your eyes and your mind to recognize the gifts and blessings you are manifesting. Start looking for all the ways The Universe is responding to your prayers giving you both what you ask for and need. Listen to and follow your soul’s whisperings. Celebrate all you receive (wanted and unwanted) as healing and growth opportunities.

Happy Belated Birthday hun! You see all those good things that happened to you on Friday, well it was because of who you are and YOU DESERVE IT!! It sounds like an absolutely fabuolous birthday and you’re a Taurean too, fellow Earth sign (I’m a Capricorn).
I LOVE the idea about the whispers and kisses from God, it’s a different take on the gratitude list and will definitely incorporate it into my end of day routine.
