I just received this reminder email that I’m passing on to you! Last month I wrote about Earth Hour - people all over the world will turn off their lights from 8-9 pm local. Tonight’s the night!
Read on…
Earth Hour is tonight from 8-9 pm local time. Get ready to gather your friends and family and “turn out” for this historic global event!
Get creative and have some fun while the lights are out - host a “green” party with organic snacks, battery lanterns, and live music, or relax and read by flashlight. Have a romantic outdoor night picnic or backyard campout. Or join in a public event being organized by a local organization, government or business.
Whatever you choose to do, make your Earth Hour something special. And while you’re at it, change a light bulb or two to energy-efficient compact fluorescents (CFLs). For more ideas, click here for a list of 10 Things to Do in the Dark.
Just think, at 8 pm tonight, you and millions of others around the world will come together and turn out the lights to call for change. Together we can fight back and save our planet - and Earth Hour is just the beginning. One hour for the planet. Learn more about Earth Hour.

Hey thanks for informing Lorraine.
So what will you be doing while you turn off the lights? Will your cats be running to you
?

I’ll be lighting my candles and snuggling in with a book I am reading and loving. I expect to be cozying with my cats Gamy. If they don’t come to me, I’ll be looking for them!
What will you be doing?
