Social Networking has become a bigger buzz word. While the idea has been around for a few years, it seems as if there is a greater push to focus on social networking as a priority marketing strategy and as an effective resource to forge quality business relationships and friendships.
There are more sites popping up all over the place and each one is beckoning you to join. I just don’t have the time or energy to join everything and be productive! So, I decided to hand pick the ones I find to be the most viable and from, what I have heard, are the best…. So, here’s my personal list and some links to join with me:
Women’s Internet Marketers Social Network - resources, forums, groups, classes about ways to maximize your marketing efforts, online and offline. Content is consistently updated to provide leading-edge current material.
Self-Growth- the #1 self-improvement site loaded with articles, tips and resouces. This site has gained great popularity offering, tips, resources, articles. Experts in the fields of personal & business development can create individual profile pages and network with other experts on JV campaigns, strategic alliances and other collaborations. Look me up
My Space - Who doesn’t know about this site, right? Invite me to be your friend
Facebook - Very big right now. This site has a lot of fun application you can add to your profile, messages and invitations. A definite site to join! Invite me as a friend
LinkedIn - more of a professional business networking site.
There are tons more great sites. I suggest you find 3 or 4 max to focus on so you can build relationships and use your time productively. Join the ones you know you will participate in and be willing to pay a membership fee if you believe it will be a worthwhile return on your investment. Explore trial memberships. Remember, you get back what you put into things. The key is to actively use these sites!
