I had a great experience this week that is too good to keep to myself. It’s all true …..
December for business can often be a bit tight for many people who have service businesses like mine. This month I really felt the pinch. I’ve made some investments in growing my business and had some other expenses that really ate into my money cushion.
On Monday I took at look at my finances and I realized I didn’t have enough to cover my expenses for this month. I could feel the fear and distress beginning to bubble up. I’m used to having a cushion and, as I sat there I realized that this situation was really between me and God/Source/The Divine/Higher Power (or whatever name you use).
Next month I have lots going on which didn’t help where I was for December. You noticed I said was, right?
So, Monday night I meditated, put out some prayers and intentions, including asking for a specific sign from God in the form of money the following day. I asked for this sign to assure me that my prayers were heard and that The Universe was working to resolve this situation with me.
When I awoke the next day, I intuitively felt a nudge to write an email to my subscribers and offer them a 20% discount on all of my products if they placed an order within 48 hours. It was a private sale as my way of saying thank you to them and opening up my financial flow. To me that’s a win-win. I even sent out 2-3 emails within that period which, I usually balk at doing for fear of deluging my folks, and I did it anyway.
Inside of one hour after I sent out the email, I received notice of the first sale. THE SIGN I HAD ASKED FOR!
Within 48 hours I had attracted the amount of funds I needed to close the gap between my income and expenses. And it’s only the 13th of December!
I have a close friend who manifests things within hours. She is amazing. I called her on Tuesday morning to ask for her support as I moved forward with my intention. There is something very powerfull about sharing what you intend to attract and create with someone else.
When we spoke this morning we swapped stories about all the amazing things we manifested this week, including prosperity. It was very inspiring.Â
I’m thrilled and so gratefull.Â
You might be wondering, “How’d she do that?”
It’s not rocket science or magic.
What I did was this:
1. I clearly asked for what I needed.
2. I let go of being attached to how it came to me.
3. I listened to and followed my inner guidance which I see as Source working through me. Once I put out the request, I no longer put any attention into my worries, fears or concerns. I looked at this as a 48-hour experiment in manifestation.
4. I did whatever I felt guided to do regardless of any resistance or fear. In other words, I kicked into action.
5. I let go of the outcome and expected the best.
When things appear to be impossible, take heart. You are more powerfull that you think.
In those times of uncertainty, we are called to connect with ourselves; to who we really are inside as spiritual beings and with Source energy. We are called to listen, act and trust. That’s where the magic happens.

Lorraine – thank you so much for this posting. It couldn’t have come at a better time. The advice and tips you gave to manifest the money you needed were good. I will be using them. It seems like we know this stuff but our thoughts and fears take over sometimes until we come across an article like this to put us right back on track. I feel the same way Pat,
Stories like mine and others are so important to hear. We all have those times when we lose heart and become discouraged even when we know (in our hearts)that things always work out and every experience is a healing opportunity.
I have also found that when I need encouragement, someone says something, I read or see something that lifts my spirits and helps me find my way back to my path.

Really good post. I used to have many of those “how’d he/she do that” moments, until I learned how I was creating everything that came into my life (duh!). About manifesting: what works for me is just setting a strong, emotically charged intention and then detaching from the outcome completely. It’s actually fun that way!

I find the Laws of attraction very interesting and reveiling. I readed the book The Laws Of Attraction and it open my eyes. In the past I have done things related to The Laws Of Attraction and now I understand them.
