On Halloween, I had a major product launch of my Fear audio program. The amount of preparation that goes into a product campaign is enormous. My web designer and I worked on the new page creations, updating content, new program additions, bonus giveaways, coordination of partners who would send emails to their lists….whew!
I don’t want to bore you with all the details that go into marketing a new product. I was mentally psyched for weeks visualizing what I wanted to attract financially. With the support I had to get the word out including posts from bloggers Priscilla Palmer and Gamy Rachel (you rock ladies!), the $ figure I wanted to make in sales was very doable and I worked with the steps of the Law of Attraction every day.
Deep breath. So, on Halloween I awoke with great expectations. The day had finally arrived. By noon I had a number of sales. Nowhere near what I was hoping for and I could feel my disappointment beginning to creep in. Pretty normal, right? Were my expectations too high? Maybe.
The Law of Attraction is very powerfull. When I apply the principles to my life, I always bring the Divine /God/Higher Power into the equation. Whatever I ask for and visualize includes the phrase, “This or something greater (or better) for my highest and best good”. I add that because I believe that the Universe is a much bigger and creative thinker than I am. I realize that what I wish for might not always be what is best for me so I defer to a Higher Power (that has my happiness at heart) to bring me experiences I need to grow and prosper.
Knowing that to be true helped me to quickly let go of my disappointment and watch what was happening throughout the day. There were so many gifts. Traffic to my site jumped. I was receiving so many sign ups for my newsletter. People were emailing me from the UK, The Netherlands, and New Zealand to speak with me about coaching. Speaking offers have come in from folks who are interested in my doing some presentations for their groups.
All in one day. It was amazing.
The launch date was the beginning of a ripple effect. I can see it and I’m smiling. I am so gratefull for everything that happened:Â the sales I made, the people I am meeting, and the new opportunities opening up for me.
Think that was in my original visualization? Think again. I was attached to what I wanted to attract which is why I initially felt disappointed.
I mighta missed seeing all this good stuff because it wasn’t going the way I wanted!
Remember? This or something greater for my best and highest good…
The Universe plays a much bigger game.Â
I’m loving it.Â
So, when my good friend emailed me this morning to ask how my campaign went, I couldn’t wait to tell her about all the gifts I received! She got it.
My advice? When asking for what you want and visualizing the outcome, add my phrase, “This or something greater…. and be open to possibilities and opportunities with appreciation and gratitude.
That’s how magic happens.
What will you create today?

Lorraine, so VERY true! Seems attachment can creep up on us with uncommon stealth. I agree that keeping in mind that something greater or better is always in store for us cleans up our perspective and helps us to surrender.
This week I set intent (for only the second deliberate time in my life) for a relationship I wished to grow, and got an outcome completely different from what I wished for. With shocking speed, within only a couple of hours! I was stunned. But when I thought about it, I realized that the intent I set, contained so many good things, all valid things for how I want to spend my future. And this man could not give it to me right now.
This knowledge really filled me with gratitude and peace. My heart might take a little while to get over the pain, but my spirit knows: All is always well!
Thanks for reinforcing what I learned through sharing your experience.
Much joy to you, and success!

What great insights Pippa,
My point exactly. Once I was able to expand my perspective, I was able to see the beauty of what was unfolding and my part in creating it.
When you realize that and feel the gratitude and peace you described, any pain moves quickly and what is left feels wonderfull. The challenge is to enter each experience in that open state of acceptance and wonder. That’s my intention. I’m not fully there yet!
Thanks so much for adding your thoughts! Your comments are always so rich!

Wow, I am so happy for you Lorraine.
More newsletters signups means more leads, and more leads means more audience, and more audience means more
$$$$$
Yea!
Today Is Your Day!

Thanks Gamy
That’s exactly what I began to see. You have to build upon a foundation when you are breaking into new territory as I did with this campaign. I’m thrilled with what happened and excited to build on this experience. It’s a big win in so many ways.
Don’t you love the synergy of things Lola?
No coincidences that someone you know might be having an similar experience or says something at just the right time you need to hear it.
You and I have much in common!
I’ve been out of the loop with folks because of the campaign. I’ll be stopping by to say hello!
Have a terrific weekend ladies.
