This week I have had a blast participating in The Professional Dreamer’s Week Event - http://www.professionaldreamer.com
People have been calling in from all over the world to listen in on the numerous presentations. I was fortunate to have two slots to talk about being fearless. The topic of fear is huge for sooooo many people.
I just came off my radio show and fear presentation, and as I write this, I’m feeling very humble by my experiences with folks this week. You all rock!
Looking over some of the emails I’ve been receiving this week, I found a link to a fabulous site I had to tell you about. www.pureagape.com Check out the R & R Lounge (click on laughter!), the Library and Circle of Life. This is a special site.
Go check it out. www.pureagape.com

Thanks Lorraine for the trip to the agape site. I went straight to the humor page and had a good time with the laughing. It was particularly funny because I have a dial-up connection and each track was loading independently and at varying speeds. So I would hear these mini bursts of laughing and then some unidentifiable sounds in spurts and squeaks. I think that was funnier than hearing it all the way it was intended!
I also appreciated it because several years back when I was working on a cd for my second book, one of the tracks that we put on it was a group of women laughing. We used one of my songs in the background, and the laughing women, friends of mine, were in the foreground. I can’t tell you how difficult that track was to produce! I thought it would be a piece of cake. And, really, it was quite fun, yet not what any of us expected. The other tracks were all songs, so this one was quite different (and, like the songs, illustrated one of the principles in the book). Anyway, my thought was to have this track be a way people could practice laughing and lighten up a little. They would hear other people doing very real laughs as well as experimenting with different kinds of laughs. My daughter even joined in. The real challenge came after the recording. The studio engineer and I had some trouble mixing what we had recorded. So, she and her friend added their laughs, and we even used some canned laughter. I think the end result may have annoyed more of my listeners than tickled them.
Still, I think we all deserve an A for effort if we take some time out of our busy days to nurture our humor muscles.
Best, Marcia
